Ebony Magazine Lays Off Digital Team without Pay

Ebony Magazine has been a staple in Black Culture and something we all read. According to sources one being the root, they say that Ebony magazine has laid off it’s digital team some time around June 7th without pay. One of the sources had asked to be anonymous in order to see if they would still receive their back pay. The staff is only about 5 people including the director, 3 writers, and a videographer. there is currently a work stoppage until this pay is received. They are still waiting to hear back from ebony magazine for any updates
