Yesterday, a car crashed into a pillar, causing a strip mall on East Dublin Granville Road and SR 161 to partly collapse, leaving a huge mess to clean up!

Surveillance video from a nearby business shows the car slam into the pillar out front of Massey’s Pizza. As a result, several businesses have closed temporarily to keep the public safe.

People at the scene said that when they heard a loud boom they realized something wasn’t right.

A store owner said he couldn’t believe that no-one got hurt.

“I’m blessed,” said Edinson Reyes, owner of Mi Bandera supermarket. “My business is blessed. We are blessed here. I’m really glad no-one got hurt.”

The property management said they plan to hire a company to build and eight-feet-high fence to keep the area secure. For now, it is unclear when business will be back to normal.
