Tiger Woods completed a personal and professional comeback Sunday after he captured his fifth Masters title and his 15th major tournament, snapping a 10-year championship drought.

The victory almost instantly shot Tiger back into relevancy in the sports world as golf junkies to people who haven’t watched golf since Tiger feel off celebrated the comeback.

“It’s unreal for me to experience this,’’ Woods said in a television interview after his victory on Sunday. “It was one of the hardest I’ve ever had to win just because of what’s transpired the last couple of years.”

At the age of 43, Tiger burrowed his way through a tightly packed leaderboard to win by one shot at Augusta for his first major title in 11 years and first Masters win since 2005.
